Gender:
Male
Starting Planet:
Earth
Race:
Saiyan
Racial Traits:
Saiyans are capable of incredible feats of willpower via the strength of their pride!
Saiyans when they begin to get backed into a corner begin to pull out more power in each of their attacks, upon going below 50% Health they will begin to do 10% additional damage (10% of the attack's base damage added on to it) with all attacks! (Ex: an attack that does 100,000 Damage will instead do 110,000 Damage while this is active).
Zenkai:
Upon receiving life threatening damage a Saiyan is capable of gaining a power boost known as Zenkai. Though to do this the Saiyan must be near death and manage to recover from such injuries.
In a Battle, Death Enabled thread, or Saga event if a Saiyan's health drops below 5% and they survive to thread their gains for that thread are doubled OR they gain a flat 10% bonus to their Power Level, whichever is larger!
The Tail of a Saiyan
Every Saiyan in Universe 7 is born with a tail. This gives them the ability to harness Blutz waves and transform into the Great Ape known as Oozaru. For a Saiyan, an untrained tail can be a fatal flaw. If the Saiyan has an untrained tail and it is squeezed by an opponent the Saiyan will be absolutely helpless. The Saiyan will find themselves paralyzed and their power level will be reduced to 0 once their tail is squeezed. This can be avoided though, with the use of a technique slot a Saiyan can train their tail and prevent this from happening. This weakness will be applied to all transformations until the tail is trained.

History:
Scallio is the older brother of Kondai, another
saiyan currently residing on Earth. Scallio was born a couple years
ahead of his older brother and the two of them, being Saiyans, spent
much of their early childhood fighting. Sparring with each other was
endlessly fun, even if Scallio had always had an advantage due to being
the older of the two. His fighting strength had always been high, even
for a child. Born lucky among the Saladan Saiyans, his family thought
for sure he would join the Saladan Military to help defend their planet
from their less than pleasant cousins on the other side of the planet.
While growing up Kondai and Scallio developed a friendly rivalry kind of
relationship. The two are very close and Scallio considers Kondai among
his closest friends. Despite that the two are highly competitive always
striving to do better than the other and be the best they can possibly
be. The two even have a bet going. They know they are both descendants
of the first 'Super Saiyan' and they both believe that they have the
potential to become one. So they're having a race. A race to see who can
reach that peak first. To climb the mountain and obtain legendary
power.
It wasn't long until he did just that. He joined into the Saladan Military,
rose his way up the ranks by completing his missions with excellent
results and besting even some older fighters in spars. In just a few
short years he had found himself at the rank of Colonel where he
currently sits now. Naturally he's an experienced leader. After having
seen his brother off on his first mission Scallio has been busy mostly
running errands for the military. Making sure trade with the Tuffles
went smoothly and ensuring that their cousins weren't attacking Tuffle
ships, keeping an eye on Earth in the process.
But Kondai had yet to return from his mission. He had been gone for over a
year. Naturally this concerned the older brother. While he had been far
from a difficult mission and the beings on the planet they had sent him
to were low-level it still shouldn't have taken that long. So Scallio
has been making preparations for his own investigation into planet
Earth, aiming to find and confirm his brothers status and make sure he
was okay. Did it go against typical saiyan principals? Probably. But
Kondai was his brother. And Scallio could never abandon family.
Personality:
Scallio is a kind-hearted Saiyan. Being a Saiyan he loves competition in the form of fighting. He'll always jump at the chance to fight a strong opponent, even if he tries not to kill them unless absolutely necessary. Scallio is also a natural leader. Always the first to jump in and take charge of a situation when everything looks bleak, always remaining calm and focused and trying to make sure everyone gets out alive. He cares deeply for those around him, and those that befriend Scallio will have a friend that will fight tooth and nail for them and will stick by them through thick and thin.[/div]
But this gentle nature does not mean Scallio isn't capable of the vicious acts that the Saiyan race is known for as a whole. On the rare occasions that his anger is stirred and his saiyan blood is brought to a boil Scallio becomes vindictive, and sometimes vengeful. If someone were to dare take a friend away from Scallio they will have made an enemy that will search the universe for them and that won't rest until he sends the piece of filth who wronged him to the Otherworld.
[ST] Flight -- This allows Scallio the ability of flight.
It was supposed to have been a simple mission. His team was to find the Tuffle vessel that had crashed on the Vegeta Empires half of the planet and retrieve any survivors. Scallio himself was supposed to keep overseeing the rest of the transport vessels that were landing on the Saladan side to make sure that no more were attacked. He had decided to send only one of his team members down to the crash-site to investigate. Fewer people meant less chance of being noticed. And being so close to the cities with a high power level population meant that it would be unlikely their Scouters would be able to detect her.
Three hours. Three hours communications were silent. Couldn’t risk anyone intercepting their communications. Scallios communications panel in his office began beeping at him. An SOS signal from his subordinate he had sent to investigate the crashed vessel. Scallio flew up from his chair, rushing out the door and onto the flight pad. His Ki swirled around him before he took off into the skies and he shot off towards the source of the signal.
He was too late. By the time he had arrived the crashed vessel had been all but scrapped. It layed in pieces, debris and salvage laying everywhere forming pillars of twisted steel that looked like fingers trying to scrape the sky. The steel was painted white for easy visibility. After all it was a trade ship, not a combat vessel. But that wasn’t what had horrified Scallio.
It was the next thing he saw that did.
Descending into the ruins of the vessel he found her body. Bloodied and maimed beyond being identifiable safe for the scouter that was sitting on what remained of the side of her head. Scallio took a step forward, reaching down and picking up the scouter, pressing the button on the side to shut off the signal. He couldn’t have anyone else finding the body.
But that still begged the question of who had done it? The more he thought about it… the more his anger began to boil over. There was no doubt in his mind the tuffles were dead. They wouldn’t have mutilated a single woman like that. No, it was another Saiyan who had tortured her. It had to be. It wasn’t long before Scallio spotted the culprit. Stepping up to a hole in the side of the vessel he looked out and saw another lone Saiyaness. This was was bruised and battered, but alive.
Scallio jumped down from the makeshift window from the damaged cruiser and down into the brown, dusty wasteland below. The Saiyaness was busy rummaging through some tech she had found. Probably looking for something useful to pawn before wrecking the rest of the cruiser. She turned around to face him, her onyx eyes meeting his own.
Scallio spoke first. “That female inside the cruiser,” he began as he pointed a thumb over his shoulder, motioning to what he was speaking about. “Brutal. Was that you?” He had to put on a facade. Make her think she was on his side. She laughed. That shrill, infuriating laugh. She had no remorse for what she’d done. “Her? Yeah, that was me.” She replied. “Bitch was trying to save some tuffles. Must’ve been a Saladan, the dumb whore.”
That was the all the answer Scallio needed. “That ‘dumb whore’ was my subordinate.” The females eyes went from curious to on guard. She stood up, bringing her fists to her chest in a fighting stance. “Was she?” She began, her Ki beginning to charge up in her left hand. “Then you must be that Corporal she was talking about. She kept crying that you’d come to help her. That backup would arrive soon. It was pathetic.”
Scallio remained silent. He was done talking. His anger was reaching its peak and the only thing he could think of now was how to kill his enemy.
He’d be taking his sweet time, just like she had. It was the only proper way to avenge his subordinate. She had lost her life on his orders. It was his duty to make sure her death wasn’t in vain.
The female threw her left hand forward firing out her Ki blast towards him. It was slow. Hardly any power in it. She was testing him. Scallio raised his right hand, smacking the ki blast away. It exploded harmlessly in the air behind him, having arc’d over the busted vessel that was sitting behind him. Next she charged at him. He had made it clear her Ki blasts weren’t going to work. So she had decided to use her melee skills instead.
She got close, bending her knees. Throwing her hands forward she aimed to slam him in his gut to send him into the air. But when her fists connected he barely budged. She looked surprised. But then he grabbed her arm, and lifted her up. Before she could react he wrapped his left arm around her waist, trapping her right arm at her side. Her left arm remained free as his right fell back to the ground. She snickered and began to struggle, kicking and trying to punch him in his face as best he could.
“What?” She asked in her calm, smirking voice. “You want me to moan like that whore? Beg for my life?” She taunted. He was hardly fighting back. She just had to break his concentration. “I don’t break that easy. Real Saiyans never beg.” Though Scallio wasn’t really paying much attention to what she was saying. He was staring her dead in the eyes. “You tortured her, didn’t you? Took your time. Killed her slowly.” He questioned.
That was a sin even among Saiyans. Saiyans were warriors, not sadists. Torturing a defenseless opponent was considered crude. Even Vegetan Saiyans would rather just put them out of their misery after making their point. The female smirked again. “She’s dead, isn’t she? Doesn’t matter anyway.”
Scallio began to squeeze his left arm. Pain came across the females face and she began to struggle more, Ki beginning to flare up around the two of them. It wasn’t long before Scallio began to feel bones begin to crack and she began to scream. “It’s only fair I give you the same treatment.” The female raised her left hand once more, throwing a ki blast into his face that hardly even scratched him. “Let go of me, bastard!” She creamed as he continued to crush her.
“I had considered torturing you to death. It would’ve been poetic justice.” Scallio spoke as the female continued to squirm. “But death by Ki Blast, death by blade, death by crushing. It doesn’t really matter, does it?” He squeezed harder and was fairly sure he felt the Saiyanesses hip crack under the pressure. “In the end… you die.” He brought his other hand up to wrap around the saiyanesses back, gripping onto his own. And then he squeezed.
Snap.
Blood shot forth from her mouth onto the ground behind him. Her body fell limp. He let go of her and she fell to the ground, unmoving. Scallio felt no pleasure. He didn’t feel better about what he’d done. But that was what the Saiyaness had earned killing her opponent in such a manner. There was no honor in torture. No victory. Only a sick pleasure that psychopaths like her enjoyed.
“I am sorry, Chayot…” Scallio muttered to himsel as he turned and looked back at the wreck behind him. He rose into the air slowly, aiming his right palm towards the ship. “I cannot give you a proper burial. Your death is on my hands. And for that I can only beg your forgiveness. Rest easy, my friend. May your soul find peace in the next life.”
And with that he loosed his ki blast towards the vessel. The explosion was bright. And loud, too. The white blast encompassed the whole ship and both bodies, leaving nothing but a crater in its wake when it was done. He had completely vaporized all the evidence. Now came the hard part.
Telling her family.
Scallio turned back home and flew off as fast as he could. All the while running over in his head what he was going to tell her family. It was never easy. He could only hope to beg their forgiveness.
