Character Swapping
So, you ran out of muse for your character or maybe a not so nice member who is now banned for their misdeeds ruined a major plotline for that character, not to fear character swapping is a possibility!
You may swap a charater for free with no loss of PL, Zeni, or Items once and then you must wait three months, this lets you start off with all of your old stuff with a completly new character and plot!
To swap characters you must post a reply to this thread using the template at the bottom of this post, afterward you make a new application for this new character, you must write a brand new RP sample for this character swap and you are allowed to reflavor any old techniques to fit the new character but not change them mechanically. Otherwise, you do everything else that might entail making a new character.
However, you don't immediately gain access to 100% of your power level even through these free swaps, you start with 50% of your maximum power level, this does count toward forms this new character can access from the start until you start getting the other 50% back. Every regular thread or non-DE battle gives you 10% of the other 50% of PL back, a DE thread that you fight all the way through to the end will give you 25% of your PL back.
If you wish to swap without waiting 3 months you may but be warned, this comes with accumulative penalties for each successive time you do so, so tread with caution and do this sparingly if you wish to keep your PL, Zeni, and Items in tact as THESE penalties cause PERMANENT loses. If you do this the 3 month period is reset and you must now wait 3 months from the period you swapped again.
Below is an example of how these penalties accumulate:
A person can swap once per 3 months with no repercussions. If they swap again after that then the penalties they will stack up will go up with each accumulative time, they have to wait 3 months before swapping again for all accumulated penalties to be lost or they will keep accumulating.
1st time: -10% of PL and Zeni, no items lost
2nd time: -15% of PL and Zeni, one item at random is lost, if they only have one then they get no items
3rd time: -20% of PL and Zeni, two items at random are lost, if they have two or less then they get no items
etc.
To swap you must wrap up ALL ongoing threads and must not be in an ongoing saga.
1st time: -10% of PL and Zeni, no items lost
2nd time: -15% of PL and Zeni, one item at random is lost, if they only have one then they get no items
3rd time: -20% of PL and Zeni, two items at random are lost, if they have two or less then they get no items
etc.
