History:
Sanria hails from the planet Earth - melting pot housing humans, animal Zoanthropes, and the occasional freaky alien geno-types. As you may guess, Humans and Animal-Types were the original species aside from the lower life-forms such as the normal quadruped species(mammals, reptiles, dinosaurs, etc.). However, as time went on, other life came to live upon this planet as well. Saiyans are probably a no-brainer, as they were a dying race seeking to re-populate, naturally choosing those they believed would aid in conceiving a strong, healthy child to carry on their legacy. Others would flock to the planet as well, whether they be alien, demon, or otherwise. Sanria was born as a hybrid between an Animal-Type mother, and an unknown father who was never in the picture after his birth.
His mother did everything she could to raise him properly, sending him to school, teaching him right from wrong, and giving him the unconditional love that any parent naturally gave to their child. In his childhood, he struggled to properly socialize with others, due to the fact that his expression always seemed so tense, even during quiet periods at home. The only time his face ever seemed to relax was while in the presence of his mother. Now this is all well and good, but you're probably wondering what exactly this has to do with Sanria of today? Well, due to the fact that it was just himself and his mother at home, he'd slowly become aware that he was different from other people, and not just by the fact of being an Animal-Type individual. He'd come to learn that he was far stronger than most children were around his age. And of course, there was the subtle influence of superhero comics, cartoons, and movies to go around as well. All of these things combined sparked something deep within him. A need that he was unfamiliar with, save for the comparison to all those comics and what-not. An innate desire that could only be stated in a few words.
He wanted to get stronger.
Now this was not simply because he wanted to do it so he could say, "Hey! Look at me! I can do those things, too!" No, it was nothing like that at all. Sanria had the desire to become stronger because he wanted to be able to protect his mother. There was no "man of the house" save for himself, so he couldn't rely on his father to protect her if anything terrible were to happen to their home. He couldn't rely on his neighbors, and he sure as hell didn't think he could rely on the police. No, it had to be him, and him alone. So as he got older, he convinced his mother to allow him to take martial arts lessons, learning how to fight so that when the day came, he could defend himself and his mother from harm's way. What he didn't expect, though, was that he would find himself enjoying attending the classes a lot more than he'd anticipated. And of course, he excelled at it far better than any of the other students who attended, be they children of his age, teenagers, or even grown men. You can probably already see what's going on here..
His mother rarely spoke of Sanria's father, but what she did divulge was that he was quite the warrior. She never specified what race he was, so the rabbit-boy had no idea of knowing. Was he half-human? Half-Saiyan? Half-Alien? He didn't know what he was.. but apparently, there was something in his genetics, coursing through his blood that made him a fighting prodigy. At least, that's what his mother seemed to be implying. He wouldn't know this for certain until he'd confirmed it at one of the previous Martial Arts Tournaments in the past. It had been a very long time since they allowed children to compete in the same league as adults, but he had come out on top.. and with that, also winning quite a bit of prize money to provide for his home.
Fast-forward ahead some handful of years, Sanria now makes a living as a caretaker for children during the day, and seeking out opponents late at night. He's already hit the point where any fighter in the city just doesn't cut it anymore. No regular humans, or animal, or alien was cutting it for him. Sanria hungers for a stronger opponent, a true challenge. Someone who can push him to his limit and take him to greater heights! But as far as he knows, no such person exists.. at least, not one that he's met, anyway.
Personality:
Despite what the general demeanor of the seemingly constant frown his face might give off, Sanria is actually quite the sociable individual. When he's not busy disciplining himself with a hefty training regimen, or working as a day care attendant on the side, he can usually be seen socializing with a handful of his friends. Asking them, they can tell you that he's a total softy who cares about all of those he considers near and dear to his heart. Though, he is also known to home in on tasks at hand a little too hard, almost to the point of forgetting that there's an actual thing called a "stopping point"; absent-mindedness if you will. It tends to happen every-so-often, mostly because, as his friends believe, he's "off in his own world". A daydreamer, if you will.
But regardless of the lapses of daydreaming here and there, Sanria is also one of intense focus, particularly when it comes to any necessities, or martial arts. Definitely a frequent thing when it comes to martial arts. He isn't necessarily one to be called a "battle maniac", but he does take his training very seriously, and aims to become stronger and stronger as the time flies by. This is mostly due to his job as a caretaker for children, as he is very protective of the young and the weak and innocent. Almost as if he held some kind of "moral code" of sorts. He is far from being a hero.. but at times, people look at him and think he could possibly pull it off.. if his head weren't always in the clouds..
Starting Technique:
[ST-1] Flight - Sanria is capable of flying through the air with ease
[ST-1] Ki Sense - Being born on Earth, and as prey-type Zoan, Sanria has heightened senses that even allow him to sense the energy signatures of others, no matter how weak, or strong.. save for Divine Ki, of course.
[RPT-1] Ki Blast - Sanria is capable of firing off Ki Energy offensively at an opponent, often choosing to unleash them in a barrage to deal damage overtime. Simple energy bullets, nothing too grandiose.
[ST-1] Ki Suppression - Sanria possesses the innate ability to suppress his own Ki Signature, therefore, making himself appear weaker than he actually is. Perfect when trying to lie low when in the presence of stronger opponents to catch them by surprise.
[BT-1] Kiai - By focusing his energy and unleashing it in time with a battle cry, Sanria can repel, or even sometimes neutralize incoming Ki Attacks altogether. This isn't very effective against much stronger opponents, however..
[PT-1] High Speed Movement - The rabbit is capable of moving at very high speeds, to the point where most Earthlings think he may as well have vanished. To stronger fighters, however, they will more than likely be able to see through his movements easily.
[ST-1] After Image- A technique in which the user moves so quickly that it leaves behind a fading image of their previous position. Once Sanria has found a solid opening in their defenses, he will lash out with a barrage of rapid punches while side-stepping in a circle to keep his opponent pinned down to gradually deal out damage over time.
Example Roleplay:
The night was quiet and peaceful as the moon and stars shone high above, casting their pale glow down upon the outskirts of South City. There, outside of a small house near the beach was Sanria, the rabbit Half-Animal being, sitting by the edge of the ocean, meditating as his mind prepared itself for his self-disciplinary training for the night. His mind would hear nothing save for his own breathing, and the gentle roar of the waves nearby as they ebbed to and fro against the sandy shore. In.. and out... in.. and out. It was like the timing of a metronome in a way, timing his breathing with the sound of the water. The lapine martial artist remained in his position for a spell.. until his eyes snapped open and he leaped into the air and unleashed a volley of kicks upon his imaginary opponent.
And from his kicks he shifted his stance, soon turning round and striking at another with a fist, shifting it expertly with a rotation of his wrist into an upward palm-strike, envisioning himself clocking someone square in the jaw. Each move he made held purpose and strength, as if he were truly fighting against multiple enemies at once. But even as he carried on his shadow boxing, a look of disappointment and disdain rested upon his features, only able to see the many opponents he has already faced in the past. Stagnant. Never improving. Weak. He clicked his teeth in frustration before refocusing his mind upon the training at hand, continuing onward with naught but the sound of crashing waves to accompany him and his exerted battle cries.
He'd keep up the pace for about an hour, maybe a little more. But it wasn't long until he finally stopped, panting softly before drawing a breath in, and slowly letting it roll out from his chest, wiping a bit of sweat from his brow as he looked skyward. The pale moon above shone down with its gaze of indifference, a symbol of emptiness to those who could look past its initial beauty. An arm slowly stretched outward and upward, his hand held high above his face, as if the rabbit were attempting to grasp the moon firmly within his hand, a light of determination within those ruby orbs as he swore a silent vow to himself. "One day.. I'll find someone I can go all-out against. And on that day, I'll know for sure just how far I've come.. and how much farther I have to go. I promise you, Mama. I'll become the strongest in the world. That way no one will ever be able to hurt you, or the ones who will grow into the future."
A solemn vow to no one to hear it, and no one to reply. A sad, lonely thought in a way. But this very thought was what fueled Sanria to continue pursuing his training. He didn't know how, or why, but he just had a gut feeling that there was a lot more in the world that could help him become stronger. Especially, if he intended to protect people from those who would rather see the world burn...
