| Kondai was out and about today for one simple thing, he had recently found fliers posted by the Red Ribbon Corporation from all over earth promoting a unique search taking place all across the globe. One in which they had put out a fake set of Dragon Balls and the prize was a "wish" granted by the red ribbon corporation for gathering all seven. This wasn't going to necessarily be easy. Fighters from all across Earth were coming to participate in this hunt. There were no rules against fighting for the balls or stealing from another hunter either, any way you obtained them was fair game so long as no one killed anybody.
These balls were just as well hidden as the actual Dragon Balls too, however they came with their own little hints. Kondai along with what he was sure was hundreds of other hunters had went to the Red Ribbon HQ and gotten a hint book, giving hints as to where each of the 7 Red Ribbon Balls were located. Kondai's reasoning for collecting them was simple. Getting money or new tech might give him a chance to get home or find a means to get home, which he had been hunting for a way to do for a while now.
Kondai wasn't alone in this search either, he had spoken to his brother previously to invite him for this hunt so that travelling the globe all in one day would stay interesting. Although in Kondai's mind this opportunity meant he had a chance to fight someone on Earth who might be as strong or stronger than him, which Kondai was all for, he relished in that sort of challenge. For now though he was waiting in the first area that the book hinted at for his brother, and it seemed that Kondai wasn't alone either, dozens of other people saw this as a prime hiding spot for one of the balls so while he waited Kondai got to looking, knowing the other hunters wouldn't wait either.

Scallio, the ColonelScallio wasn’t very familiar with the Earth holiday of “easter”. Apparently it was in celebration of one of their religious figures. Scallio had never been a particularly religious person. Sure he knew of the concept. Gods and demons, heaven and hell, but he’d never really believed in them. He had no reason to. Saiyans didn’t have a religion, even on Sadala. They believed in their own strength, their own abilities to shape and change the universe, for better or worse depending on which side you were on. Sadalans tried to help people, the Vegetans wanted to conquer. The universe's oldest civil war. It had been going on since long before Scallio had ever been born.
But his brother had talked him into joining him on some kind of hunt. Dragon Balls, they were called. Legendary artifacts of mystic power that, when brought together, were supposed to grant you any wish you wanted. Of course these were simply replicas of the mystical items and the ‘wish’ was going to be something given to you via the Red Ribbon corporation in the form of some material item, or at least that’s what Scallio theorized. And right now Kondai wanted to obtain all of them and get a shot at beating out the competition. Maybe get paid and get a ride home. That sounded nice.
So Scallio had agreed to help. They needed the Zeni and a ship to get home anyway, so he figured why not? Besides, it was also a good opportunity to break a sweat and get some fighting in and spend time with his brother. They had been apart from each other for so long that Scallio was eager to make up for lost time. They had sparred a couple of times and had some meals together but they had yet to go on an adventure of some sort. Kondai had also promised Scallio that other strong warriors would be searching for the magical artifacts and the prospect had Scallio excited.
Scallio had obtained a notebook from the opening ceremony detailing various locations that the balls might be in. One detailed “Hidden in rocky crags where a great battle once took place.” The only problem was that Scallio wasn’t particulary versed in Earths geography yet, and so he had followed a pair of Namekians, trailing behind them far enough as to not be noticed as the three flew through the air to the locatio mentioned. Scallio began descending towards the ground before spotting Kondai, and raising his arm in a way.
Planting his feet on the ground Scallio would open his Gi and tuck his notebook away, smiling to his baby brother. “Find anything yet?” He’d ask, unsure of if Kondai had yet to begin. “We could always wait to see if someone finds it. Rules said everything goes aside from permanent damage or killing.”
