PL: 2,000 WC: 460 TWC: 460 "You dare refuse me on this request?!", the merged voices of Silica and Legemeton bellowed from the little girl, echoing ceaselessly into the halls of Arkham's Orphanage. The Demon and the girl had for once agreed on a matter to attend to and were intent on accomplishing it... one way or another. "But lord, this is only a rumor. We cannot be sure if the guardian of the tower can truly do as you wish.", the soft spoken woman in pale white robes spoke back to the possessed young girl. Concern in her voice at the angry she was rising in her lordship.
"Do I look like the type whom would chase after fairy tales?! I am your deity, your master. You WILL take me to the base of the tower!", the fuss of Legemeton's berations continued as the small girl yelled at the woman, who was quickly and clearly breaking down from the verbal assault of her lord. "Y-Yes my lord. I... I'll go prepare one of the vehicles for you outside.", her voice cracked and whimpered as she dropped to one knee, hanging her head in shame before running to the front of the building. Content with his success, but not with the means of travel.
"No, we will fly... we will move faster that way.", Legemeton spoke once more through Silica as the Demon lead the young girl to the doorway, pulling the woman with her as the two came into the courtyard. As the sign of the Fifth Celestial was drawn, the blood-stained marking lingering and dropping to the dirt like a liquid, pale white wings tore through the girl's body, ripping skin and muscle with each inch and foot.
With a wingspan comparable to that of her height doubled, the red and white feathers shook as she flapped them once, twice, and thrice. Lifting herself into the air and guiding the ki trained cultist with her, Silica and Legemeton shot off towards the Bamboo Forest.
It would not be a long flight, covering a planet by air is far easier than through a vehicle that could perhaps manage a quarter of the speed. Coming to rest in a clearing, Legemeton would wrest control of the mind to the young girl once more, leaving her there in the care of the pale woman and with the wings still at her spine.
Silica would take a moment to look around with a soft sigh, wondering what exactly the Demon had in mind bringing them there. She would sit on a nearby tree stump, wrapping her newfound wings around herself and smoothing them out, avoiding the points of blood cover as she felt the soft, silken feathers between her fingers, caressing them and toying with them absent mindedly.

Public schooling is the most convenient thing, at times. A particularly relieved hybrid had been squatting within the confines of a local tree. Today's lunch was being prepared for the afternoon's consumption. Celmaru Waterfield silently surveyed the area, haphazardly attempting to suppress his presence. The hybrid's Ki, however, was to be perpetually uninhibited -- no matter how likely it was to minimize his future spoils. The hybrid assured himself that no mere bison prowled about these parts; vastly powerful game, in comparison, roamed freely. Surely, at least. Perhaps a bear? Bear meat seemed delicious at the moment, despite it -- in regards to texture -- feeling quite worse than old jerky. In hindsight, that must've been the bear itself. Briefly disregarding such thoughts, Celmaru spied to and fro, peering along the immediate environment to catch a glimpse of a vicious pile of lunch. As the time inched along, the hybrid discovered little more than insects and minuscule fowl. Mere emergency snacks, when hunted.
Celmaru pondered relocating to pursue any iota of productivity. The hybrid's stomach had become foolishly empty, and the growl of his hunger pangs likely alerted all the animals away. Thankfully, the hybrid wasn't alone. As if on cue, a distant TWANG echoed between the natura of the forest; audible and notable among the previous silence. A fading roar preceded a resounding THUD. Large game; a hearty lunch! Energy had dispersed, alongside any evidence of a weapon's immediate utilization. The hybrid responded in kind, leaping atop nearby branches to peek upon an upcoming meal. With a hop, a skip, and a duo featuring a child with massive wings, Celmaru --
Now wait just a moment: a what? The hybrid froze. There wasn't a pairing that often included anything akin to that. The hybrid's visage, if he was fortunate, was still concealed by foliage. Had they just arrived? Perhaps -- were there two individuals there? The hybrid's confirmation on the matter was obfuscated; surrounding leaves and other such foliage was both a blessing and a detriment. The spiritual sensation that Celmaru sought out, albeit briefly, was muddled, yet overwhelming in a singular sense. What was this Ki? A moment's pause transpired. Celmaru couldn't be sure, nor assure himself of one answer or explanation over another. The hybrid's brows furrow intensely; the hell was this?! With a frustrated grunt, the hybrid slung himself over an elevated branch -- allowing himself to hang into a visible position. Mere meters from the stump Silica rested upon, a stranger appeared from the shadows. It's brows were furrowed, it had some edgy facial scar, it actually had some varying mite of power. Spooky.
Nevertheless, Celmaru spontaneously intended to acquire an answer.

PL: 2,000 WC: 450 TWC: 910 Silica sat idly on the stump, her eyes and hands locked on the wings at her back, she was still not used to occasionally coming to to find these things sprouting from her back, only for them to disappear shortly after. Regardless, the limbs always drew her attention is a not so bad way, she loved the way the feathers felt between her fingers.
The Pale Woman would look over to the young girl with curiosity, inspecting her movements and curiosity. "The Lord must be resting, are you well Silica?", she spoke with a softer and more parental tone than she had with the Demon prior. Kneeling down to the child's level she too inspected the wings curiously.
"I'm okay, He left me with the wings again. Did he tell you why he was coming here to the forest?", the small girl spoke with her soft, hesitant voice. Her large green eyes moved to meet those of the Pale Woman. "The Lord seeks something known as the Divine Water, he believes it to be in a sacred tower nearby.", the Pale Woman spoke once more, reaffirming the young girl to the conversation she had with the Demon Legemeton prior.
Silica would nod at the Pale Woman, but her attention on the older woman would be broken as a man dropped from the trees nearby. The young girl would scream shrilly, her eyes flashing a pale pink before returning to their bright green color as her heart rate calmed.
"W-Who are you?! Do you want to hurt us?". her voice was still shrill as she staggered to her feet, feathers flying free from her wings and landing idly unto the ground at her feet. Her hands twitched as she traces emblems into the air without a thought, a branch and a far more intricate circle sign, neither doing a thing, but both appearing and fading into nothingness.
Legemeton roused as his attention was piqued at the appearance of the mystery individual. Not speaking a word to Silica, he wanted to see how the child would handle this situation. Should things grow dire, he would take control as he needed. The being didn't seem to carry any malice in his movements, but Legemeton knew many that carried an air of calm until the time came to strike.
Letting his energy flow deeper into the girl, her symbols would linger longer, but still not carry any value to them as she traced them mindlessly. Should things grow dire her passive knowledge of them may be the only thing that saves her life in the situation at hand. The Pale Woman sat to the side, ready to defend her Lord should the time come.

A "divine water", hm? Wasn't the most inane topic the hybrid has ever heard. However, the conversation was indeed interrupted; quite brusquely so, in fact. Celmaru's previous, personal inquiry became clear -- as there appeared to be multiple individuals beside each other. Perhaps that was solely the hybrid's momentary ineptitude in which caused such confusion. Tearing such potentially deprecating ideas aside, the once confusing being shrieked exceedingly sharply. It was a strident screech indeed. The hybrid released his grip upon the branch he hung from, briefly lurching himself forward to avoid splintered calves.
The one that was -- seemingly -- a modest child posed a... rather reasonable query: who was he? Celmaru attempted to refrain from staring for more than a moment. Did he startle her so terribly? Well, Celmaru did appear from just about nowhere -- er, never mind; it was certainly justified. The hybrid assured himself of that much as he relaxed his facial expression. A poor start. Celmaru would allow the child to trace her nonsense, albeit maintaining awareness if she were to pull something herself. Peeking to his right, the hybrid would eventually, or perhaps finally, begin to respond. Further rustling from the nearby forest was audible, yet not upon them.
"I am a civilian. I can assure you of that much, miss. I had been spending my morning hunting for lunch, and I was intending to reconvene with my partner, as I currently bear little to prepare for a meal. From what I had heard a few moments ago, they had greater fortune in search for edible and sufficient game."
A brief pause. The hybrid attempted to gather his thoughts to ensure minimal inconvenience.
"It was only on my way to my partner that I took note of a strange, and... perhaps turbid signature. Unable to discern it for myself, I revealed myself in curiosity. I had no intention to harm, only to ask. However, it seems that there were truly two individuals here, not -- say, one in the same -- and I apologize for any inconvenience."
With an awkward head-bow, the hybrid straightened his gaze. His pupils flitted betwixt a pair of strangers. As the hybrid was about to take his leave, a familiar figure also revealed itself among the density of the forest. It was feminine, albeit fluttering. The fluttering silhouette abruptly unveiled itself to be -- none other than -- the hybrid's aforementioned partner: Phae Waterfield. The woman's visage peeked outwards from the foliage, procuring an immense carcass from the shadows with a meager twirl of her finger. An ungodly gash was evident from the animal's lower abdomen area. The excess had been spilling into another levitating object; a tin bucket. With a wave of her free palm, the hybrid's wife finally took notice of the strangers accompanying them. Yet, without a word, Phae reiterated her sudden, albeit amiable wave. With a spin upon her heel, the newfound stranger settled the animal corpse before her, conducting further preparation as blood almost forcefully drained itself! Would this woman be considered dangerous as well?
"Would these three perhaps be joining us for lunch, husband?"

PL: 2,000 WC: 521 TWC: 1,431 Coming to a moderate calm, the young girl's eyes were still locked on the older being that was before her. His arrival was... not calculated to say the least, but she needed to calm herself nonetheless.
"Lunch...?", Silica hadn't even considered what the time was and as the thought crossed her mind, her stomach grumbled dissatisfied at her. Ignoring it for a moment her posture would shift as the wings curled over her body, covering her petite frame with relative ease.
Legemeton was still roused, guiding Silica's eyes to lock on the being before them. With a simple suggestion he led her hand to trace and eye from behind the wing, however he did not give her the magic just yet
As the second person arrived, Legemeton forced himself into the girl's mind, wresting control of her being. "You're a perceptive one aren't you? I suppose I need to work harder on concealing myself behind the young one don't I?", Legemeton's voice fused with that of the young girl as he spoke through her to the older woman.
A wry grin crossing the girl's lips as a hand was raised, the eye traced once more and setting the magic on the man.
The bloodstained symbol would then drip slowly to the ground as it left a mark resting on the humanoid's form, marring on the back of his hand.
"Don't mind that little mark, it lets me be sure you won't try anything foolish. It will be gone as soon as I feel it need be.", Legemeton's tone shifted once more to a controlling one.
However as the information from the eye seeped into his mind he stammered for a moment as he realized the sheer gap in power between he and the being. What were these mortals drinking?
"My lord, you wake!", words sauntered out from the lips of the Pale Lady as her eyes lit up. She prostrated herself to theyoung girl, who would turn to her dismissively and raise a hand, informing her to rise to her feet.
"Rise back to your feet, now is not he time or place for praise.", Legemeton commanded the Pale Lady. She would waste no time to follow the orders of the being that was guiding the young girl.
The wings at Silica's back would flap gently, an array of feathers fluttering from it once more, only to be replaced with more in an instant as if none had ever fallen.
"As far as food goes, we would be pleased to join if you would like. The child will need to eat something soon or she may get sick.", Legemeton spoke for the group, more interested in learning more of the woman than truly feeding Silica, for he knew that she could stave off longer than she was.
The Pale Lady nodded her head softly at the comment, pulling herself closer to Silica, resting her hands at her waist, cupped and waiting obediently for any order give to her by Legemeton now that her master was awake.
With a stretch of the young girl's arms, Legemeton awaited a response from the pair.

"Why of course, you have never enjoyed a fulfilling nature's bounty unless you immense oneself in wild game~!"
A sly grin breached the previously nonchalant expression. Phae, perhaps or perhaps not unbeknownst to the supposed duo, displayed a wily gaze within her eyes. Albeit, perhaps this was only so from living among humanity. One able to possess children was surely a bit beyond -- or perhaps less than -- the humans she coveted. However, with a modest chuckle to herself, Phae attempted to create a firm eye contact with Legemeton. The hybrid's wife spun upon her heel, her facial expression shifting to become more amiable. "I'm afraid I happen to be an exception. I wouldn't worry your little self over it~!"
The particularly assured individual seemingly heeded no mind to the Waterfields -- beyond their initial reaction that is. Caution was exercised, however; magic was being spewed to, from, and all around the child's form. The hybrid's wife deduced this to be solely from the child's tracing. How quaint. Celmaru, in the meantime, had taken over Phae's extraction duty; the bear wouldn't be prepared on its own, after all. Audible clamors of tearing and slicing underline Phae's shifting facial expression. It still bore a warming, motherly curl within her lips -- albeit it withheld a minor scheme.
The hybrid's wife folded her palms before her waist as she awaited the incorporeal possessor -- and their subordinate -- to conclude their collective babbling. Phae's eyes remained in a squint for several moments, solely in wait. Nevertheless, Legemeton's commands and conversation returned to the strangers upon them. Patience was rewarded, patience allowed for Phae to further her scheme. Eyebrows raised, eyelids hovering below, Phae posed a query. The woman's amiable grin flickered with the aforementioned, wily smirk. With a brief and brisk approach, Phae leaned inwards towards the possessed child. Perhaps she could be considered within a too-near distance; yet the hybrid's wife murmured a confirming phrase. If Legemeton were knowledgeable, it would be likely to recognize it.
"Mgiiahe Y' ahnythor ai, n'gha ot ah lloig, mg?"
Without a moment to pause, Phae attempted to trace her fingers along the child's arms. If Legemeton or Silica were to allow as much, the hybrid's wife would gingerly lift the child's arms to eye level. With a gentle slip into her palms, Phae would mention -- be it to the intangible overlord or the innocent marionette -- a mere offer. Nothing special, menacing, nor heinous; as if not a word was spoken less than a moment prior. Perhaps for the remaining first impressions.
"Might you be willing to ever meet my daughters? A young woman such as yourself must experience her youth before her years nip at her heels. Their vigor would bring you such joy. You seem so troubled... very, truly troubled."
For the enigmatic Legemeton, this was surely a farce; a jest. For Silica, this was a genuine offer. Perpetual demonic possession was a detriment! It created some alarmingly cavernous wrinkles if you weren't careful! Regardless, lunch plans still stood for the afternoon, at least.
Phae used Appeal! Will the Normal-type move have any effect? Legemeton

PL: 2,000 WC: 502 TWC: 1,933 Silica's form shuddered as Legemeton mentally blinked at the peculiar woman, the ancient tongue known to few of this realm... even the Pale Lady showing some degree of fear in her posture at the familiar tongue.
These very words and their arcane origin carried a magic to them that was unlike that of others spoken, lost to time and reality and bound to the Realm of its birth, thought long gone forever.
"ymg' ai ph'nglui ahee n'ghft. Y' ah uh'eog ot fahf mgepr'luh ehye, hupadgh mgepogor s'uhnn. Gnaiigof'nn ng fhalgof'nn ah'hri ya shogg", Legemeton spoke through the girl, the tongue of incomprehensible age more than a mere utterance by the Demon.
The air around the young girl itself rippled at the call as the long bound pact was reminded and the call to the Sons and Daughters echoed through reality.
Dropping to her knees, the Pale Lady would utter a prayer to her Lord, "C' tharanak mgn'ghft ph'nglui n'ghft hupa, oh uh'eog ot nilgh'ri ng gnaiih ot fhtagn" Thrice she would repeat the prayer, tears rolling down her soft, colorless face. Once finished she would once more rise to her feet, readjusting her dress with a weak smile.
"Perhaps all of us should take care with the Elder Tongue, it has an effect on some mortals.", Legemeton piped up, gesturing to the Pale Lady dismissively and with a shrug. He knew he had enlightened them as to the meaning of the speak as to not drive them mad, but their prayers did grow tiresome at times.
At the strange woman's final statement, Silica would nod softly. The Demon retreated back into her subconscious, curious to study further from afar and listen to what could be learned. "I would like that, yes. Everyone else I know lives at the orphanage with me... except for that old man.", the tiny, meek voice of the 'marionette' rung out, devoid of the Demon's influence this time.
Her stomach growled and her body quaked as she felt her energy drain some. Dabbling into the Arkana always left her in this state, almost always opening her up for total possession by the Demon within.
Yet ironically she never once could tell how long she would be out or what would come of those encounters she missed as unlike her memories, Legemeton knew how to hide his from the young child.
Noticing the young girl's waning energy, the Pale Lady would stop closer to her and resting a hand at her shoulder. "The tongue must have drained the young child, she still has yet to learn to muster my Lord's powers as her own.", the Lady spoke to the others.
Silica was still exceptionally new to the concept of utilizing the capabilities of the Demon without being completely taken over and the cult had witnessed these after effects on more occasions than what some might find comfortable.
So much in fact that a procedure was in line should it put the lives of herself or the Demon in peril.
