In the house of the elderly (Closed)

Tsuki padded inside with care, trying not to break anything this time as she had already sort of gotten into trouble for that kind of thing. The little pup meeping happily at seeing yet more food in the bowl just for her! She bounded over and stuck her face into it, chewing contently while being told she was going to have to sit back and listen. This confused her just a little and she sat back, food mostly forgotten with the rather impressive meal that she had had already consumed so was happy to sit back and let the food wait until Ayumu had told her what he wanted to. It was worth it for the double meal that she had received today already.

“Okay! What’s a planet? Can I eat it? What’s a universe? Is it tasty?”

The pup was apparently about as clueless as she looked when it came down to the greater world around her, it was hardly a surprise all things considered. She’d spent her life in a forest followed by aimlessly lounging around at Ayumu’s place. What was the odds that she would actually know about anything important.

Tsuki did her best to understand, the pup staring at these balls. Sniffing at them curiously and even trying to take a little bite out of the Earth based one. Before inspecting it a lot more carefully and lightly pointing out where Ayumu’s home was and them right now. The idea was a little mind blowing to her though and so she tried to listen with care.

“Uh, Big Green man in big green world?”

She head tilted and barked excitedly at the comment that they could travel to other worlds and she pawed at the extra worlds with some care trying to figure them out a little further before just looking confusedly at Ayumu

“Why? Can I eat them? Is there more food on Big Green World?”

Tsuki stared at his fingers as he counted, the pup seemingly more interested in those than the things actually being said. Though she clearly at least had paid some attention, as at the end of it she felt the need to comment on it. Finally looking up and at Ayumu with some care.

“Uh, is that a good thing? Can we do that?”

She hopped in place a couple of times, making sure to keep the bounces light this time instead of hard enough to crack the floor which she seemed capable enough of doing but just hadn’t done so, so far. She hopped onto Ayumu with some care, giving him a little nuzzle and hiccuping a tiny amount of fire.

“Can I do that for people?”

Tsuki’s tongue flopped out, the little dog happy to be getting patting and reacting with a happy little contented noise in the back of her throat. Though at what Ayumu said next her ears perked up she started to look rather confused.

“What’s a zoan? Oh, you think more folk like me? More Tsuki style wolves!”

Though as he spoke of setting fire to a forest the little pup starting growling and trembling angrily. The little pup starting to bark angrily at nothing around her. Clearly she was still upset about the forest that she used to live within was burned down.

“Tsuki’ll eat anyone who burns nice forest!”

Tsuki looked rather excited for a moment or two at the idea of there being others like herself, the wolf hopping free of Ayumu’s arms and bouncing on the floor again, practically trotting in place at her excitement at the idea of more of her around. Though that didn’t sound right really to her with what little she could remember.

“Tuski was made in lab! First friend told Tsuki she was special!… Tsuki kind of ate him, he made Tsuki super hungry. She couldn’t help it.”

She lightly pawed at the created image of the fish person almost idly before trying to think more, actually trying to figure out what it was that she was. It was a weird thing to think about really. But she had a good try none the less.

“First friend said he made Tsuki.”

Tsuki’s expression visibly glazed over at the words Ayumu was saying, almost as if she just didn’t understand and had just tuned out until she managed to get a grip on things once more, though as that little hand picked her up she came back to and started giggling happily and wriggling about. She always liked being made to feel special and Ayumu did it so well, giving her pets and calling her a good girl. Not to mention giving her snacks!

“Tsuki Best wolf! Tsuki likes snacks too so be best girl and good girl!”

She tried to wriggle free of the hand and start bouncing about once more, an idea having hit her that she could help Ayumu understand her more. Plus she didn’t want to go back to that place alone. It felt empty and lonely now that First friend wasn’t there and maybe there’d be more like her.

“Wanna go see where Tsuki made? Maybe find More like Tsuki! New friends?”

Tsuki would excitedly squeak when he agreed to her proposal. He seemed very curious about her after all and maybe he could figure out what all the strange stuff down there was for. If not maybe there would be more friends in the dark room below her creator’s house. Either way she was happily imagine a whole pack of slightly smaller copies of herself and bouncing about ready to go.

“Uh. Tsuki doesn’t know. She can find it again though, because she has a nose!”

As if to hammer home this point, she gently tapped herself on the nose and giggled before pouncing after Ayumu and standing just in front of him, nose to the air for a bit instead of the ground and starting to catch on the faintest hint of scent, both of herself and the long since gone threads of her creator. it’d been three years, his scent was non existent but the place where they had been and the scents of the city it’d been within were still fresh enough for her to start the search.

“This way! Tsuki never tried this before, she’d been a bad girl last time she was there and felt bad going back”

Despite this, Tsuki wasted little to no time in taking partly to the air, it was easier to sprint across the ki pads that Ayumu had shown her instead of running over the ground as there was more of a chance of hitting something uneven and tripping while she wasn’t paying attention and focusing on the scents in her nose. Her speedy sprint would lead the pair towards the outskirts of North city. The wolf pausing at the edge and snuffling about to figure out exactly where she had fled from.

Edging slowly into the city, the wolf seemed to have a trail it was following and following slowly, piecing together familiar smells and sights from her escape some 3 years prior with a bristling and obvious excitement. She was going home! She had a friend to come with her and make it not scary now
