Carnelian is a Changeling, with a smooth, almost biomechanical appearance. He has light grey skin with black highlights, and his bio-orbs are a deep crimson flecked with white and gold. His lower body is missing, replaced by asymmetrical mechanical hips, steel legs, and a multi segmented tail. Above his head hangs a circular halo, a reminder that though he walks the material world he cannot count himself amongst the living. Standing at 4'8" and with a weight to match, he's a slight figure. However, his orange irises upon darkened sclera cast an imposing gaze that attracts attention and demands respect.
History:
Once a prominent Planet Broker within the PTO, Carnelian would watch the grey sun rise over the jagged city skyline of Frost#97 from the heights of his office. Wealthy and cruel, he dispatched mercenary groups throughout the galaxy to find suitable planets to invade, conquer, and sell to aspiring kings and warlords. A fateful meeting with the saiyan named Faust left him without his lower body, and their second meeting left Carnelian dead.
Carnelian found himself in his own personal hell. With his mechanical augmentations, his soul could not be properly purified, and thus found himself in limbo. A featureless plain of silvery white extended in all directions, farther than he could see. A single solitary tree sat in the middle of this expanse. All sound was muffled and all senses were deadened. He was alone, and if he could still feel, he would have been afraid. Hundreds of years he sat with his back against that tree, staring up, not moving, not breathing, not feeling, knowing, caring, even thought itself was stifled, and when he found the strength to remember, he drifted back to that final encounter on a burning planet.
Age 1000. Almost four hundred years he laid comatose in his personal Hell. Suddenly, the silence was shattered. Two ambitious PTO soldiers had acquired a crystal Medium and sought him out, his legacy, while not quite legend, was impressive enough. His mind snapping back into place was excruciatingly painful, but he knew exactly how to escape. Carnelian instructed them on how to collect the dragonballs of planet Namek, and gave them his wish.
"Bring me back to the material plane."
Not quite resurrected, he woke back on his homeworld, a halo glinting above his head, an indicator of his undeath. His time in Hell had given him perspective on the actions of the Planet Trade, and how it would eventually lead to a galactic crash the like of which had never been seen. Carnelian set about founding an intelligence agency, one that would keep tabs on the more dangerous groups and individuals in the galaxy. He would keep balance; alone if he had to. And one day, he would take leadership of the PTO as his own, and drastically change it from the only seat he deserved:
The Throne.
Personality:
Bright, energetic, and witty, Carnelian's almost bouncy demeanor plays counter to what you'd normally think of from a changeling, especially one of his status. His time in Hell changed him, and while his soul hadn't been cleansed, it had been polished somewhat. However, his mood occasionally swings ice cold, his frosty glare enough to freeze those in its path.

Carnelian launches himself forward and slugs his opponent with a series of devastating haymaker punches.

Carnelian charges his opponent, dealing a series of devastating blows, and with each punch he forces his aura into his foes. Once 100% saturation is reached, he throws his hands to the sky, lifting his opponent, before detonating his aura in a wild explosion. This leaves him unable to use ki techniques until he can catch his breath and recover.

Carnelian cannot transform since his death. Instead, his spirit and ki grow stronger the longer he stays in the Material Plane, which then bolsters and strengthens his body. With effort, he can temporarily force his body and spirit to perform at even greater levels. His state of undeath grants him an additional 10% to all Power Level growth.

"You're PERSISTANT, I'll give you that! But our fight ENDS HERE!"
