In the house of the elderly (Closed)

Tsuki seemed mildly bothered until there was a faint click as one of the bricks on the nice cozy fireplace pulled at at her prodding and the fireplace sunk back into the wall further, revealing a ladder that led downstairs. Tsuki giggled and bounced up and down a little before pointing happily. Knocking the paper off as she did so, and then dropping down without much concern. That swiftly changed at her landing and the sounds of many automatic turrets swinging around to point at her and a robotic voice speaking softly.

”Intruder detected, identify yourself.”

Tsuki started to shake slightly, not sure how to deal with this problem and looking around at the guns. The lab below was rather vast, well maintained compared to the upper floor, a rather opaque ominous looking vat was against one wall beside a wall rack computer that took up the rest of the wall from which the voice appeared to have originated.

“Um… Tsuki is here?”

”Identified, project attempt 1 of Waifu”

Mercifully the guns retracted and the lights came on with in the lab, giving them more time to look around. Tsuki heading over to the vat to try and peer through the glass without much success though the computer display was just showing a question mark and a small sign indicating that it was listening for anything said.

Tsuki hopped from spot to spot carefully, moving from the Vat to the super computer, to then stare at the posters on the other wall by which a more mundane computer sat. They were mostly of anime and manga characters from a decade or so ago, quite the number of animal eared people adorning most of the wall. She paused a little and then hopped onto the spinny chair and whirled about for a bit giggling happily before looking at the big computer and being plucked up by Ayumu and laughing at him.

The computer responded to Ayumu’s voice, brining up on screen the words Project Waifu before switching to a series of images, one the genetic code in minature for Tsuki, the other the timeline of the original project from concept to completed gestation in the Vat and finally a composite picture of what Tsuki should look like as a wolfgirl. Underpinning all of this was a small notice marking the attempt as a failure.

“Yup, Tsuki was made in that vat! First friend made Tsuki but she didn’t talk much then. She was a happy little pup. Then she got too hungry...”

She wriggled free of his grasp and sat by the vat, gently sniffing at it curiously. Trying to figure out something and then walking back and forth to the ladder and the Vat before looking rather confused and head tilting at it once again.

“huh?”

Tsuki was super happy, nomming softly on that lamb leg and enjoying herself mostly distracted from what was going on due to the prospect of food and mostly spaced out during Ayumu’s conversation with the computer, she was a happy little pup and she was back home leaving her even happier. The computer came up with a large X at his request to binding request. The display on the screen reading that Ayumu is not the intended target of project Waifu and so they are not going to have a dependency upon him.

It seemed to think for a little too long at the questions of increasing the assets of the following projects, when it finally produced an answer, it spoke with care. That Ayumu would have to define what assets he required. At current, Sun/Star or Project two has increased survivability including within a vacuum, capable regenerative means and a greater affinity with technology than its predecessor Tsuki/Moon. Project 3 was still being gestated at the moment. Helios was according to the computer a wildcard, a stray direction to see if removing the regenerative capacity allowed it to start in its completed form unlike the others.

The computer switched to an hourglass before coming up blank, known planets were zero. It then moved on and added that hypothetically there were a likely minimum of ten planets based on the racial data that it had stored within it after it’s creation. Unfortunately it has little access to the outside world and was mostly a self contained system. It was however granted a fair number of offline wikipedia articles to supply the newlyborn with some base information about the world around them.

The computer seemed confused at the concept of being provided with a body. Questioning how this would help it become more mobile? It was here to grow the next experiment within the vat seeking the correct set up after project one: Tsuki was deemed a failure by the creator. The exact nature of the failure was unknown so diversifying the projects is now the only means of receiving the mission accomplished from the creator.

Additional racial information would be an interesting addition to the current data bank, but knowledge of the planets themselves serves of little purpose towards this project at this time though it is appreciated that there are others willing to aid in the finalisation of project waifu and the completion of it’s purpose. The computer than asked if there was anything else that the human would like to know?

The computer took a moment, but then demonstrated three genetic sequences, the first was labelled as moon moon, the second as sun/star and the third as Dwarf Giant. The computer then bringing up Tsuki’s in full and displaying that no errors were detected within the genetic code. But the creator declared it a failure. So alternative animals were sought as in every other respect the first project fulfilled all the requirements, almost as an afterthought the computer was attempting to make each iteration stronger until it received a mission complete from the creator.



The computer agreed with him that after acquiring enough material the created creatures will forcibly evolve into their next state. Without the consumed being involved it is unknown if they will continue their evolution. At the request of junk data it actually brought up the goals of project waifu. Namely the final picture of Tsuki in perfect form according to the computer. With the declaration that the goal of the project was in fact to create this creature using the DNA combinations and sequencers provided by the original biological artificial life originally created by Dr Gero. Most of the difficulty lay in correcting the appearance of the base creature from that project.


Tsuki was just a happy little pup, ignoring the silly machine and instead focusing on the fact she was being tossed up and down and giggling cheerfully at nothing. She was having fun. Who cared what a silly machine was displaying on its screen when there was Ayumu giving her the time of her life.

Tsuki paused to derp a little at Ayumu being serious, her little cute face twisting and giggling at the silly thing he said. The dog wriggling free of his grip and landing on the air to stare at him before giving him the gentlest boop on the nose and then bouncing back and forth again.

“Silly, Tsuki always okay!”

She stared at the machine and innocently pawed at the pod while the machine itself replied that there was no damage it has been running regular diagnostics while working so that it can report any errors to the creator should he require such a thing. It is however, rather dusty and the automatic cleaning machine was damaged beyond repair by Sun/Star when trying to find food. Tsuki gave a silly light giggle at this and bounced back at him before saying.

“Shall we go? Did this help Ayumu know more about Tsuki and family?”
