Jhelks audibly grunted as the metal-lined lizard creature attempted to mentally impart a joke through it's telepathy. On a subconscious level the dark Namekian agreed with Sun-Star that the pair could indeed duke it out all day long, but the green warrior had zero intention of letting that happen.
A shock reverberated up Jhelks arm as he bashed the tiny lizard off his shield, than his Hydra Snap technique sent the little beast spiraling backward. Even with all that however it was the 'Green Star' which granted Jhelks his chance at sealing a victory in the here and now. He watched as the diminutive lizard attempted to shield it's eyes from his tech, but the creatures arms could not reach it's face and the hypnotic emerald light left the creature in a dazed fit.
Snapping his clawed hand out with an impossible stretch for most other races, Jhelks aimed to grab the seemingly defenseless creature by its throat; than crack his arm like a whip to throw the croc hard toward the surface of Namek.
"The day ends now!" Jhelks yelled as his arm quickly retracted to normal length. Spreading both his upper limbs wide a white aura of energy erupted about the Namekian's body as he slowly dragged his hands together before his waist to cross at the wrist. Wind kicked up in a storm from the Namekian's aura, blowing off him in gusts as the warrior built the power he believed needed to end the fight. Light began to enveloped the warrior's fists, and when he was ready Jhelks threw both arms forward to release his built up energy!
Instead of a standard beam there was merely a bright spark of white light... and than came the explosion. Shock, fire, pressure, and smoke all blasted forth in a directed tunnel of destruction which flew right for Sun-Star!
Following the deadly blast Jhelks reeled his head back as yellow light streamed through his fangs and his antenna once again began to crackle with power. Snapping his head forward the warrior belched a small ball of ki as his antenna once again fired twin rays of electrifying energy! Each and every attack sped rapidly for Sun-Star, meanwhile Jhelks could only heave deep breaths of air and watch the destruction unfold.

Star was still trying to get her vision back, the croc swore internally as she ended up going for the quickest option of getting her sight back, clawing out her damnable eyes and blinking furiously as they regrew. In the time it took for her vision to return she was slammed into the ground hard and barely managed to get to her feet as another large blast of energy slammed her back into the ground before a piercing beam slammed through the croc, leaving her wheezing and gasping for breath that wouldn’t come upon the floor. She couldn’t move, what the hell had happened while her vision was coming back to her?
W...what in the hell was that!?
She tried to thrash on the ground and right herself, but her limbs still failed to respond. It was like her body had shut down on her and wouldn’t respond. What kind of foul trick was this that the damnable Namekian had performed.
Explain yourself Namekian!

Jhelks sucked in great bouts of air as he watched his four pronged attack come together. Driven helpless by his stunning energy star the metal draped lizard had been unable to defend. The creature had smartly, if brutally restored it's sight by tearing it's eyes free of it's skull. By the time she regenerated however Jhelks had already thrown her to the ground below. The hellfire and piercing beams which followed burnt, ripped, and tore the small beast asunder.
As the Namekian had hoped however, the creature yet lived. Wheezing and bleeding upon the scorched ring of earth that remained from Jhelks devilish assault. From his position in the sky Jhelks watched as Sun-Star thrashed and struggled to move, her mental voice cutting through his thoughts with anger laden questions.
Exhausted from the massive output of both stamina and power, Jhelks slowly descended out of the air to land beside the small creature. Even now her wrecked body worked to heal but Jhelks suspected it would be some time before the lizard was combat ready again. "What happened is what I told you. Power alone means nothing." Jhelks said as he looked down upon the bio-android. Than the Namekian dropped to his rear in the burnt dirt, spreading his legs out for a relaxing sit.
"I tricked you, than I beat. As for your body, you took to much punishment. Even Namekian's can become worn out past the point of effective healing. Rest a while and I bet you will recover." Jhelks continued as he scanned the ruined field. It was a shame to scar the face of Namek so, but in the end Jhelks knew she would heal with time much like Sun-Star would.
"You certainly are durable though. If you work with me we can shore up your flaws until your perfect." Jhelks said almost casually than, he was to tired to argue. By now the creature would either join his cause, or she would not.

Star’s head managed to make a small jolt, about the only movement that had worked since she had been floored by the Namekian. The bio-roid’s claws twitching ever so slightly at the attempts to move at least causing some kind of response on a physical level. It was clear that with the Namekian just sitting so close she was trying to move, either to escape or to try and slash at him in some way. From how angry her mental voice sounded and the hissing constantly escaping the actual mouth of the lizard it was probably the latter.
To be bested in such a stupid way… The shame of it.
There was a sickening snap as Star managed to get an arm moving, audibly breaking the limb to force it to move the way that the creature wanted it to move, pushing against the ground and heaving herself back onto all fours, though with the broken arm now facing skywards instead of on the ground she concentrated a little, small scales made of ki raising off the croc and rushing around the limb, severing it without much concern.
Perfect… I like the sound of that. I was seeking completion. But perfection sounds better.
She eyed Jhelks with some care for some time, the croc seemingly weighing up her options. The way she saw it right now, she didn’t have much in the way of choice, should she decline his offer than he was in prime position to kill her, while she was on her feet once more nothing of her seemed to be working all that well.
You are willing to help me? I do not understand you Namekian. I am Sun Star, with my pride shattered as it is. I would be foolish not to accept your help.

Even as Jhelks lounged in the dirt to recover his strength, the Namekian was not unaware of the lizard creature's fury. Instead the warrior simply trusted in his knowledge of Namekian regenerative limitations, fully believing that the small beast would not be moving anytime soon. The croc visibly shook with anger however and her mental voice dripped with venom in the Namekian's thoughts.
"Shame only matters if you allow it to. Nearly every loss you'll ever face will be from something stupid. That's just life." Jhelks replied as he watched the creature struggle and twitch.
With a wet crack Jhelks watched as the lizard managed to break one of it's own arms and use the new positioning of the limb to regain her footing. Such a move was perhaps not the wisest, as Sun-Star was in no shape to continue the fight. After a moment of effort small scales of energy fluttered free of the beasts body and cut away at it's own damaged and disfigured limb. A tactic obviously meant to speed the regenerative process.
The little creature did not seek to continue the battle however as Jhelks expected it might. In his exhausted state the warrior was only about half certain he could actually kill the croc, so he was glad the situation seemed to be heading down a different path. "Why would I not help you? Helping you helps me. Besides somewhere deep inside you sleeps a warrior. I'm curious just how powerful she may be." Jhelks said honestly as the pair stared uneasily at each other.
"Greetings Sun Star, I am know by Jhelks. I trust that we shall do beautiful things together." the Namekian said with a vile smirk lighting his features. The warrior all to proud at the formation of such a tenuous yet deadly alliance.

Star thrashed her tail around a little as she tried to force her body to obey her, of all the things that was causing her such problems. It was something as fundamental as actually moving when you wanted to. Her jaws snapped a few times and she seemed to be getting closer and closer to mobility once more as the severed limb regrew with a small burst of blood. Okay, at least that one could move about that’d be nice.
You sound as if you’re talking from experience, what stupid losses have you suffered then, hm?
With her body almost back in action even if she did feel like hell, the little croc stretched out slowly before slumping into the dirt with it’s legs splayed out. Apparently comfortable like this, though she couldn’t say that she trusted this creature all that much. He hadn’t tried to kill her or perhaps had known that this wouldn’t happen and was making a deal and befriending so that once she became as he put it. A warrior instead of letting it sleep.
There is something, some matter that I am missing in this endeavour. Maybe I just don’t understand your kind and this is normal behaviour for you
Jhelks huh? Strange name to Star, but then again it was probably more normal than she expected. She only had her own time to base things off of and the information the computer had given her. It was only so much she could gather from that breif spate of learning. Having someone like Jhelks show her the ropes wouldn’t hurt.
Beauty? A strange choice of words. I do not think anything I have done is considered beautiful by other races

The dark clan Namekian could only grunt and nod at the small croc as she asked her questions. Jhelks had know defeat plenty in his life, something he accepted but did not enjoy. "Most recently? I fought a human warrior of great power. He could hide his energy and I believed him weaker than he was. Several stabs to my insides later I learned the truth of his power." Jhelks explained, offering a small part of his past to the croc-like creature. Hoping that his honesty would aid to grow trust between them.
Watching as Sun-Star regenerated enough to not just move, but to stretch out and recline in the blasted dirt of their surroundings; Jhelks smirked at the lizard. Whether she realized it or not the bio-android possessed greater healing capability than any standard Namekian. Whichever machine or vile machination of science had spawned this creature forth had done a tremendous job with her. "You will find as you explore Namek that my people exist in three groups. My clan are warriors and conquerors, than there is the false brotherhood of lesser warriors. Finally the clerics of the Dragon Clan; mystics and magicians mostly." Jhelks expanded. Sun-Star would learn this information soon enough anyways, so the dark Namekian saw no harm in the offering. "This behavior is par the course for the smarter members of my clan."
A deep rumble of laughter swelled up from Jhelks than, Sun-Star failing to understand the meaning of Jhelks words, especially in reference to beauty. I did not mean physical beauty. However there is a beauty in nature. Monstrous as you are I suspect you simply do what comes natural to you." Jhelks said around his laughter as he pushed himself to his feet and brushed dirt free of his cloths. "Explore this planet and take what you will Sun-Star. know that we will meet again however. I hope in that time your horizons are expanded enough to accept my offer." the warrior said as a white enveloped his body and the Namekian gradually floated into the air.
With a final wave Jhelks turned and flew off, ruling his time with Sun-Star at an end for now. The warrior could only think of possibility however as he flew into the distance. With Sun-Star at his side they could accomplish much. "Only time will tell." he muttered to himself as Jhelks soared into the glow of two setting suns.

Star could only smirk a little, well as much as a croc could actually smile. The little creature shifting position with care, everything still hurt to an immense degree but she wasn’t letting it show to the other. Wanting to seem stronger than she evidently was. That loss had hurt to quite the degree, possibly more so than the pain had done. Thankfully, she got to find out a little about her apparent companion. Namely that he wasn’t invincible either. It gave her hope that in time she’d be able to best this man. Some hint of pride demanded it of her that she at some point in the future bested this warrior.
Energy? I am aware that it makes me tired performing in a fight, but what use would hiding that energy do unless there was means to detect it?
She huffed at him ever so slightly as he explained the nature of his world and the warriors within it, and more importantly that there was entire groups with strange powers that didn’t focus on martial prowess. Maybe there was a lot more than she knew, and what the computer had managed to teach her. It was good to know though that there was likely to be more like Jhelks out there. Combative and capable, she’d have to be very careful in the future.
More or less, I do what I have to in order to complete myself, and yes I am considering your offer carefully. I am not likely to decline.
She watched as he took to the sky, eyes narrowing slightly. Maybe she’d come to the wrong world after all, she had hopped for it to be easier out this way. What little information she had garnered from the computer about this world. It seemed to be a more peaceful place than Earth. Maybe that was because the warriors were so much stronger and even this small scuffle had blasted the landscape quite badly. It was a lot to consider. She’d have too observe these warriors in some capacity and see if she could understand the source of such strength.
I’m sure we’ll meet again soon.
